Looking for a choir to join ?
Take your singing to the next level by joining St Peter’s Singers!
We are passionate about singing and we welcome interest from both experienced and young singers with talent and commitment.
We offer a supportive environment in which your musical skills can quickly develop, with potential opportunities for solo work. There are lots of concerts and a varied, interesting programme.
We expect a certain level of preparation and commitment in order to maintain the choir’s high standards, but we never forget that the enjoyment of making wonderful music together is why we do it…

St Peter’s Singers is a dynamic and versatile chamber choir with a reputation for innovation and enterprise, high standards and wide horizons, led by one of the leading young choral directors in the north of England.
We perform music from 16th century Polyphony to contemporary and newly commissioned pieces.
We rehearse on Sunday evenings 7.15pm-9.00pm at Leeds Minster LS2 7DJ.
Joining us involves a simple audition where you sing us a piece of your choosing, sing some scales and undertake a straightforward sight-reading test.
The annual membership fee is £175 ( £50 students). You can spread the payments.
If you’re interested, please contact our choir secretary, giving details of your previous choral and any other musical experience.
