St Peter’s Singers perform french spiritual music by Francis Poulenc and Maurice Duruflé in the stunning setting and acoustics of St Anne’s Cathedral.

Monday 14 March 1.15pm
Leeds Cathedral
Cookridge St, Leeds LS2 8BE
Poulenc’s Quatre motettes pour un temps de pénitence (Four motets for a time of penitence) provide a surprisingly sensuous and rich opener. Duruflé’s emotionally charged Requiem weaves plainsong melodies into haunting and at times tempestuous moments of musical beauty. You may well leave floating on a couple of inches of clear air!
Don’t miss this chance to take a moment of peace and beauty away from all the noise. Admission is free!
